Special Summer Events

Ilford Town will be presenting fantastic events for all the family during the period of the Olympic Games*. They will be taking place in the pedestrianised area on the High Road between Waterstones & Argos.

3^rd August - Boadicea Ladies Street Dance 

(Finalists on Sky 1’s Got to Dance) Workshop 3pm; Performance 5pm

9^th August - Bollywood and Bangra dance 

Performance 2.30pm; Workshop 3pm; Performance 3.30pm

10^th August - Otto & Teddy's Fairytale Fun 

Street Theatre Walkabout - Meet Otto the otter and Teddy the fox as they wheel a wooden cart through the crowd laden with ancient magic, props and relics from the greatest fairytales and invite anyone who wishes to test their knowledge in a quiz of fairytale fantasy!

From 11am – 5pm

17^th August - The Golden Oldies

Fom hip ops to HipHop! Come and meet Florence and Reginald.  Do not assume these unassuming octogenarians for has-beens. They may enjoy a nice of cup of tea and a biscuit but these world renowned dance champions of a by-gone era are here to prove it’s not just the youth who can groove, when the music starts these Golden Oldies will dance like they did in the glory days!
