TeenDreams Exhibition 2011

In this special exhibition by Redbridge Museum, discover how teenage life in Redbridge has changed from the 1950s to the present day.

From the Ilford Palais to 1960s Mods in Woodford and1970s soul nights at Lacy Lady in Seven Kings, hear local people’s stories of dancing, fashion, romance and going out. Step into the hidden world of the teenage bedroom orre-live school days and your first job.

Redbridge Museum has worked with a range of young people to show aspects of teenage life today.

This exhibition is part of Stories of the World, one of the projects of London 2012’s Cultural Olympiad programme.
