Ilford businesses have their say

Town centre forum encourages Ilford businesses to have their say

The Ilford BID team is organising a Town Centre Forum on the 17th September, enabling business people in Ilford to meet with members of the BID Board, local police and Council representatives. The event, which takes place between 12 noon and 2pm, will give business people the opportunity to ask any questions or make any suggestions that they have in relation to Ilford Town.

Ilford BID is a partnership of businesses, organisations and the local authority working within Ilford to deliver projects and services that will improve the trading environment. Led by business for the benefit of business, the BID will deliver visible and tangible improvements to Ilford for up to five years.

The BID area covers the town centre featuring the main retail and leisure destinations. All or part of the High Street, Cranbrook Road, Winston Way, Clements Court, Chapel Road, Clements Lane, Clements Road, Chadwick Road, Postway Mews, Havelock Road and retailers within The Mall are covered by the BID.

The event will be taking place at The IF Bar on Ilford Hill and all local business people are welcome.

Neil Davis, Town Centre Manager said: "From the research that we carry out on a regular basis within the Town Centre, we know that business owners within Ilford are always keen to air their views and have many questions to ask. By opening up a forum and bringing all business stakeholders together this will provide an opportunity to discuss the development of Ilford and the part that we all play in it."
